Early Career

Alex became disabled at the beginning of her career, a couple years after graduating college, and has not been able to work a typical job since. Before becoming disabled, she had numerous internships, entry level corporate experience, had worked nearly a decade in retail with numerous years in leadership roles, and had been interviewing like it was a full-time job, even while working, to hone her interviewing skills and network,

Alex's personal resume landed her interviews for corporate positions with top companies like NBCUniversal, Showtime, Saturday Night Live, Nickelodeon, Business Insider, Syfy, Steve Madden, Late Night with Seth Meyers, TJ Maxx, Warner Bros., The Rachael Ray Show, Paramount, and Sonja Morgan New York.

This experience and Alex's love for her early career courses as an undergraduate student at LIM College made her an expert in the early career space - from resumes to interviewing - and during the pandemic in 2020 she hosted resume workshops on Instagram Live and started a resume writing business. While Alex no longer offers resume writing services, she did create an early career resume template for others to use and will be re-recording her resume workshop for others to watch at any time (coming soon!).
